In March of 2018, Prestige Memorial Funeral Home became Gadsden’s 1st African American funeral home to have an on-site crematory. In addition, our team of licensed funeral directors, embalmers and funeral attendants became the 1st group of African American professionals in Gadsden to become licensed as cremationist in Etowah County.
